Sue O'Connell with Matt Larson will present a day-long workshop aimed at improving math instruction for grades 3-8.

Sue O'Connell is a math consultant, author, and national seminar leader. Her experiences in education include being a classroom teacher, an instructional specialist, a talented and gifted teacher, and a school improvement specialist. Sue is the author of a variety of math teacher resource books including Now I Get It: Strategies for Building Confident and Competent Mathematicians K-6, Introduction to Problem Solving, and Introduction to Communication. She conducts on-site training programs for schools and school districts across North America and is a frequent speaker at local, state, and national math conferences.

Her books and workshops are well-known for their engaging and practical activities that focus on making math meaningful for all students.
