SUMMER Conference
Our SUMMER CONFERENCE will be held on June 18, 2010 at the Embassy Suites Omaha/LaVista Conference Center.IMPROVING MATH INSTRUCTION IN GRADES 3-8
Our speaker is Sue O'Connell with Matt Larson providing information at the beginning of the presentation.
Sue O'Connell is a math consultant, author, and national seminar leader. Her experiences in education include being a classroom teacher, an instructional specialist, a talented and gifted teacher, and a school improvement specialist. Sue is the author of a variety of math teacher resource books including Now I Get It: Strategies for Building Confident and Competent Mathematicians K-6, Introduction to Problem Solving, and Introduction to Communication.
She conducts on-site training programs for schools and school districts across North America and is a frequent speaker at local, state, and national math conferences. Her books and workshops are well-known for their engaging and practical activities that focus on making math meaningful for all students.
The conference times are 8:30 - 3:00 p.m. and the cost is $110 per person.
